SKU: Dancing Girl was produced by Tiffin / US Glass from 1925 -1936 as part of a Depression Glass dresser or vanity set. This figural glass powder jar is shown and described on pages 26-27 of Whitmyer's Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. (this reference also documents the differences between Tiffin's Dancing Girl and the more common variant of this jar known as Curtsy) This aqua blue dresser jar features a smiling young girl with outstretched arms and wearing an ornate low cut gown. Beautifully executed with fine definition to her features, figure and gown. The top edge of the base has the characteristic rope rim. This very hard to find powder jar measures 6 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches across the rim and is in excellent condition.
