Sailboat Depression Glass Green Figural Powder Jar

This figural Depression Glass powder jar is known as Sailboat, and shown on page 51 of Whitmyer's Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. The lid of this green glass jar is embossed with waves, the finial is a sailboat with a large double sail, the jar is decorated with sunrays and diamonds. Measuring about 5 1/2 inches tall to the top of the sail, and 3 1/2 in diameter, this jar and lid are in excellent condition
