Gold Overlay Cased Intaglio Mauve Glass Intaglio Powder Jar

This powder jar is encrusted with a detailed gold overlay pattern outside then cut to a mauve/ amethyst hued interior showing though cased clear glass petals, and further decorated with a floral design intaglio cut inside the mauve lid that shows through the petals of the lid. The base has a circlet of petals cut out from the gold overlay on the outside. I am uncertain as to how the mauve shading of the inner layer of glass has been added, but it is a layer of glass and not painted on. Measuring 6 inches diameter x 2 inches height, and in excellent condition.
