Art Deco Intaglio Cut Angel Aqua Blue Glass Open Salt Dip Aqua

This delicately colored aqua blue open salt dip is shaped like a small octagonal tray, measures 2.5 in. long x 1.675 in. wide x 1 in. deep, with a recessed step at the bottom creating a slight pedestal. Exquisite and gradually incised, classic intaglio work shows an angel (or cherub) sitting on a draped column with what appear to be bubbles blowing nearby. This beautiful open salt dip is in excellent condition, and is believed to be early 20th Century European in origin, possibly from the Hoffman school as it is in his style
