Hocking Green Depression Glass Ribbed Cookie Canister

A canister style cookie jar produced by Hocking Glass during the 1930s. The green Depression glass has a rib pattern, and this canister is referenced on page 83 in Florence's Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years (6th Edition). It has a volume of 64 ozs. and measures 8 x 6.5 inches with a rim diameter opening of about 5". The metal lid is tarnished, while the glass of the jar itself is in excellent condition with no damage.
