Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Cigarette or Glasses Case

This vintage mesh gold-tone metal pouch by Whiting and Davis is referenced as a cigarette case (Aikens,2005) but could also be used for glasses. It is signed Whiting and Davis on an inside metal plaque, which is attached to the golden beige cloth lining. Dimensions are 6 x 3 inches and the condition of the mesh metal is excellent, while the frame and clasp and inner lining show mild wear.
