An attractive vintage glass ewer that I believe is either Italian (might be Venetian) or Czech origin, The glass is a pleasing blend of crystal and aqua blue, with gold trim and an elaborate sepia shaded flirt scene showing a courting couple in repose under a tree with a basket of flowers in the foreground. The gilding (which I think is 24 k gold) extends around the rim and spout and in broader bands around the body and foot, and also as scrolled floral adornment over the aqua glass. The round pedestal foot is crystal glass as is the artistically reeded and twisted handle. Height is 8.75 inches with foot diamter of 2.5 inches and broadest circumferance of 10.5 inches. The width across tip of spout to handle is 2 inches.
