A Fitz and Floyd china dinner plate in the pattern known as Golden Heron. The background is an ivory shade while the pair of herons, sun, reads and water are shaded in gold and tan. The plate was made in Japan and has a classic Japanese abstract design. The back is marked in gold lettering "Golden Heron" and FITZ & FLOYD,INC MCMLXXVII FF12 as well as an adhesive label with FF JAPAN and a partial price tag showing "Ivy's" The year shows it to have been made in 1977. The dinner plate is part of a larger dinner service and has a 10.25 inch diameter. It is in excellent condition and appears to have been used only for display.
