SKU: NMVmwj This Depression era figural pink satin glass powder jar is known as Martha Washington, and is shown and described on pages 26-27 of Whitmyer: Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. The lid has a group of three figures - a colonial lady flanked by a boy and a girl. The jar is embossed with garlands of roses. Produced by the New Martinsville Glass Co., from 1937-1944. This Depression Glass powder jar stands about 7 inches tall x 5.5 inches long x 4 inches wide, and with the exception of a few nicks on the rims and on one corner of the lid, both jar and lid are in excellent condition.
