APOLLO Ormolu Brass Glass Portrait Dresser Jar

This ormolu or brass dresser jar, with crystal liner, was produced by APOLLO, circa 1920s, and features a 2.5 inch portrait of a Victorian Lady in the center of the lid, while intricate metalwork designs and embossed friezes adorn both the base and lid. Marked APOLLO on the bottom. The portrait is protected with either a mica or celluloid covering. This vanity jar measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter x 2 1/4 inches tall including the lid and, although a little tarnished and worn due to age, it is in excellent condition
