About Alma's Attic


My store is named in honor of my mother,Alma, who inspired my love for beautiful glassware and ceramics.


I love to go on treasure hunts and so my inventory has an eclectic selection of items, with an emphasis on decorative antiques, vintage collectibles, Art Deco and Depression era glass, vintage vanity accessories from the Victorian to mid-century modern period, as well as other boudoir and dresser items, costume jewelry, vintage ladies clothing & accessories, including desihner purses and handbags. I have an extensive selection of figural powder jars, perfume bottles, dresser jars, vanity trays & sets, hair receivers and brush, mirror & comb sets, trinket & jewelry boxes and other vanity delights. Included are Art Nouveau porcelain and jasperware, as well as glass jewelled and guilloche enamel metalware pieces. I also stock unusual boudoir lamps, candlesticks and soap holders, and have many items of Bedroom and Bathroom Glassware of the Depression era.

My eclectic inventory additionally features 40s-50s-60s glassware, pottery and other collectible ceramics, kitchen collectibles like cruets, butter dishes & cookie jars, vintage tableware and beverage items, vases, centerpiece bowls and other distinctive decorative arts, antiques and eclectic collectibles.

The selection of glassware features Cambridge, Consolidated, Phoenix, Tiffin, Imperial, New Martinsville, Viking, Paden City, Fostoria, Fenton, Federal, Lancaster, Jeannette, Hocking, Hazel Atlas and US Glass, while from Europe we have exquisite Art Deco glass from Walther, Hoffman, Taussant, Portieux et Vallerysthal, Val St Lambert, S.Reich as well as English glassmakers Sowerby, Bagley, and Davidson. The ceramic collection has some very special Royal Bayreuth pieces, jasperware by Schafer and Vater, and also US potteries like McCoy. Apollo and Empire Art Gold metalwork are amongst our finest items.
